Dopady epidemie COVID-19 na sektor cestovního ruchu

The bachelor thesis is focused on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism market in Ukraine, especially on its economy. It can be noted that global crises are creating new opportunities. During the period of the world economy, new changes and opportunities can be expected in the future. The epidemic has caused great losses in various sectors of the economy, and especially in interna-tional tourism. During quarantine restrictions, a lot of people lost their jobs, and some changed their direction due to business. It is possible to assess the impact of the CO-VID-19 pandemic on the tourism sector in Ukraine and how the tourism market changed during the epidemic. Due to quarantine measures, the industry is gaining new values and people are adapting to the new conditions of tourism, but also of the world economy in general. The crisis is the beginning of changes that will develop in the future thanks to information technology, the digitization of the economy and the creation of a new way of operating in the international market.
Analysis of tourism in Český Krumlov and its surroundings

Tourism is one of the most dynamic parts of the service sector in the national economy. This research analyzes the current state of tourism in Český Krumlov and its surroundings, especially the incoming tourism of domestic clients. The intensity of tourism in a specific destination increases exponentially and brings its positives and negatives. The thesis describes specific factors that affect the current situation. The basic elements of the analysis are supply of the destination, thus attractiveness and amenities of the destination, and demand that creates the very destination of tourism. The aspects characterizing the current state of tourism are specified according to the data collected from the survey.The investigation aims to evaluate the subsequent procedures leading to the development of tourism and to satisfy the increasing needs of domestic tourists. Among other things, the thesis presents tools and products, which can be used to achieve further development of tourism in the destination.
Dopad oslabení koruny na cestovní ruch v ČR

Liškutín, I. The impact of the currency depreciation on the Czech tourism. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The aim of the bachelor thesis is analyses impact of currency intervention on tourism, especially on travel agencies. Based on the analysis of secondary data and qualitative research in the form of managed interviews with travel agents, proposed recommendations for travel agents, which they can use for future exchange rate changes. Analyses and interviews showed that despite the weakening of the crown and overall lower number of passengers, travel agencies were to respond to changes and increase sales. One of the most significant negative factors for them was that the intervention was unexpected and therefore did not calculate the higher price. Comparisons were used in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The results showed that due to the measures implemented in Switzerland, the drops in demand did not show up.
Experiential tourism in South Bohemia region

Aid to Domestic Tourism in 2009-2010 Focusing on the "Kudy z nudy" Projekt

The subject of this bachelor thesis is from the field of tourism, concretely the support of domestic tourism in the Czech Republic. The first part is a theoretic introduction into the topic of services marketing, which differs a lot from the classic goods marketing. The next part contains a summary of the current state of domestic tourism in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis, however, focuses on activities, which were performed in year 2009 and 2010 to support domestic tourism, from creating of a logo and an advertising slogan for the Czech domestic tourism, to a contest for the best tourist activity. Most of the attention was given to the Tips for Trips project. The thesis compares the current and the previous versions of the web portal www.kudyznudy.cz, assesses the project's activities on the Facebook social network and it also describes the Tips for Trips publishing activities and annual Tips for Trips contest. In 2010 the project was supported by a large advertising campaign, which is also mentioned in the thesis. There is a detailed analysis of television sport and printed advertising, along with evaluation of the campaign's effectiveness. Tourist Destination Value - Dolní Poohří

The Master Thesis deal with evaluation of domestic tourism in the destination Dolní Poohří located in Usti region. Destination Dolní Poohří was defined within the project called Brána do Čech. The aim of this thesis is to determine the potential of tourism in the destination Dolní Poohří and its attractivity for domestic visitors and tourists. Subsequently evaluate if destination Dolní Poohří has a potential to growth and describe development of attractivity in the tourist destination for domestic visitors. To achieve the goals of the thesis was the following methods applied. The method of evaluating the potential of the tourist destination designed by RNDr. Jan Bína, the method ATD, which described RNDr. Jiří Vaníček in his article in the magazine COT Business and the index of destination quality Q, which used in their research Ing. Ida Vajčnerová, Ph.D and Ing. Kateřina Ryglová, Ph.D. Essential data used with above analyzing methods are obtained from the questionnaire survey, which was made during summer season in year 2016 and from a public database of Czech Statistical Office.
Does the speed of transition impact tourism in post-communist countries?

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Does the speed of transition impact tourism in post-communist countries?" The goal of the thesis is to show the historical development of tourism industry in post-soviet countries, during the Soviet Union and after it until nowadays. In my case the focus is on the country called Georgia, because it was one of the most important touristic areas from the all USSR countries and it still has a big potential to develop further. For the end, with the help of different indicators, data and statistical researches, I will show the institutional changes in the country. The period during the USSR, later after the crash of it till 2003, and from 2003 post Rose Revolution period till nowadays. Impact on tourism development was mainly positive and lots of changes occurred that needs to be understood.
Potential of less known attractions of region Kolínsko for tourism development

Bachelor thesis is focused on less known natural and historical attractions in the region Kolínsko and on their potential in tourism development. The theoretical part concerns theoretical starting points and analysis of tourism in Central Bohemian Region. It focuses mainly on the definition of the tourism and the characteristic of Central Bohemian Region and region Kolínsko. The practical part presents an overview of natural and historical attractions and analyzes selected attractions in terms of their current use and further potential. One of the elements of this part is processing of the research. The aim is to assess the potential of selected attractions and to come up with concept for their involvement in tourism. This thesis should make readers acquainted with the current state of attractions in region Kolínsko and broaden the awareness about the issue and new attraction involvement in tourism of region Kolínsko.
The use of less known chateaus in the region Benešovsko for tourism development

The bachelor thesis is focused on less known and threatened chateaus in the region Benešovsko and on their use. The theoretical part concerns the definition and the characteristic of tourism. Then focused on specificity of cultural tourism and historic preservation. The second part presents the tourism of the Middle Bohemia and the dictrict Benešovsko. It has been created a brief overview of all the chateaus in the region nad then there are introducend some examples of the interesting use. The main part of the thesis is about the analysis of three threatened chateaus and the determination of their potential use. The main goal is to find more possibilities for utilization of each object and to focus on the area of local tourism. This thesis should widen the awareness about the condition of czech heritage and point to the problematic of growing number of decaying chateuas. It could inspire how to change the courent situation and look for suitable use of chateuas.
Analysis of the region Vysočina as the tourist destination

Tourism was realized very rarely a few decades ago. Today it is a significant part of the world's GDP and has become a major economic factor. The Czech Republic is a very attractive country in the heart of Europe with numerous natural, historical and cultural values. The tourist region Vysočina can boast all these qualities, yet one of the least visited region in the Czech Republic. This thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the potential of the tourist region Vysočina to become a competitive tourist destination. The aim of this work is to analyze primary and secondary tourism field and to assess the organizational structure of tourism and promotional activities of tourism operators with an emphasis on planned projects. The author's own research, focused on the general opinion on the issue of tourism in the region and on the evaluation of the tourism offer, is a part of this work as well. The benefit of the thesis lies in the overall recovery of the tourist supply and in making the region more attractive which can contribute to potential subsequent increased and mobilizing demand for tourism in Vysočina.
